Paralegal and Contracts Administrator

As an active member of the Greenworks Lending legal team, the Paralegal and Contracts Administrator is responsible for managing day to day legal operations and activities related to the successful closing of C-PACE contracts.  This includes working with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all required documents are accounted for and up to date, and contracts are effectively executed in a timely manner. 


  • Collect and review documents from commercial building owners in preparation for loan closings
  • Prepare documents for loan closings based off template documents
  • Order and review title reports
  • Prepare and track NDAs, contracts for service, administration agreements and other agreements; notification of managers around key events (reporting, expiration, etc)
  • Conduct bankruptcy searches and order and review litigation and judgment lien searches
  • Respond to borrower questions quickly and accurately; respond to internal requests quickly and accurately
  • Manage, update and maintain a set of legal templates such as NDAs, closing documents, affidavits, etc.
  • Manage and interface with legal and operational vendors, including managing title search companies in all markets, environmental database companies, and other vendors as required
  • Track amendments to standard agreements
  • Review standard documents received from third parties (i.e. NDAs, service agreements, etc) for off market terms

Key Qualifications:

The Paralegal and Contracts Administrator is ideally designed for a self-driven, detail oriented “doer”.  All candidates should have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a paralegal or in a legal field (can include law school and/or certifications)
  • Experience managing and executing contracts
  • Bachelor’s degree from a top school required
  • Professional certification as a Paralegal or Law Degree
  • Experience with commercial real estate contracts, mortgages, and/or title insurance a plus
  • Process and efficiency oriented
  • Ability to independently manage daily as well as longer-term projects
  • Extreme organization and attention to detail
  • Must have excellent communication skills and strong analytical capacity and ability to multi-task and set priorities
  • Ability to thrive in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity coupled with proven ability to execute
