Greenworks Lending is a specialty finance firm that provides loans for energy-saving upgrades in commercial buildings using an innovative model called C-PACE (Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy). C-PACE unlocks the commercial market by providing no-money-down, low-cost, long-term capital. Our mission is to improve the energy efficiency of our country by creating a new normal for financing energy upgrades in buildings.
Greenworks is investor-funded with employees in Darien, CT (HQ), Maryland, Ohio and California.
The business development manager has primary responsibility for converting opportunities generated through Greenworks’ loan origination team into closed projects, managing channel partner relationships and driving complex commercial projects through to completion. Candidate will be located in California; preferred candidate will be located in the Bay Area.

The position is ideally suited for competitive project management and sales professionals looking to expand their responsibilities and compensation while working towards a mission-driven goal in a rapidly growing company. All candidates should have 2+ years of complex (multi-stakeholder) outside sales, experience with directing a team in a growing organization, and relevant experience in at least one of the following industries: commercial loan origination, commercial real estate, commercial clean energy finance, solar project managements, commercial energy efficiency/clean energy. They should have a proven track record of exceeding goals.
